With the concepts of faith, culture, and rhythm Giovani Santiago has become a pioneer in the Latin Christian hip-hop movement. While secular reggaeton dominated the airwaves, Giovani identified the untapped spiritual hunger within his community through Latin Christian hip-hop. What sets Giovani apart is his ability to code-switch seamlessly between Spanish and English, reflecting the linguistic reality of many in his generation. As his music spreads through churches, youth groups, and mainstream platforms, Giovani has built more than just a fanbase—he has fostered a movement.

“I thought it was going to take years to establish myself as an artist here. I’ll meet one person who’s a part of this group or ministry who is also plugged in with another group which reminds me of how church is suppose to feel. Moving to Florida and gaining all of these connections and networking reminded me that you can be a Christian artist and like really be about that life and really live out your life for Christ,” said Giovani Santiago, 34, Latin Christian hip-hop artist from Kentucky.
Latin Christian hip-hop include artists like Redimi2, Randy SB, Alex Zurdo, Manny Montes, and Gabriel Rodriguez EMC who are the biggest Christian Rap artists in the world that make their music in Spanish according to Rapzilla that is a trusted and verified Christian rap media outlet. Giovani was recognized as Kentucky’s top Latin Christian Artist of 2023. This achievement motivates Santiago to produce more Latin Christian hip-hop music in Central Florida, where he continues to positively influence his community through his musical creations.
